We depend on that partnership - as well as community trust and confidence – in carrying out our responsibilities. The department has an officer assigned to respond to media requests for public safety information in a timely manner.

Obtaining Information

To obtain copies of police reports, please contact the Records Division at 303-384-8035. For more in-depth media inquiries during business hours between Monday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., call 303-384-8064.

Outside of business hours, media outlets in need of information on breaking news or emergency situations can contact dispatch at 303-384-8045 and they will contact someone to handle press inquiries.
